PoliticianWatch (2023)

My submission for the MEGA Hackathon 2023, Anti-Corruption Category Winner 🏆

Our goal is to allow the general public to have easily accessible information on corruption and promote political transparency globally. PoliticianWatch uses an algorithm to sort through data from multiple sources and databases and cross references and checks them to create a comprehensive view on those corrupted For those politicians who have a spotlight, some detail will be provided into them as well. I was able to get this data by UN APIs with Python and stoed it in Supabase + Firebase. Front End was developed using HTML5, CSS, Javascript.

Online investing app that adapts to live market data given by the CoinMarketCap API. Users can make an account with Firebase and invest thier balance into crypto. They can buy and sell their stock as well as view how their balance changes based on the market in real-time.

By taking this course, I became more proficient in programming with a strong foundation of computer science principles. What are Binary Trees and how do we use them?

A binary tree is a data structure that consists of nodes arranged in a tree-like structure. Each node has at most two children, which are referred to as the left child and the right child. The topmost node in the tree is called the root.
